Rebirth can be a challenge for Western Buddhist practitioners, because it can seem like a foreign idea, something we need to accept even if we haven't experienced it.

The good news is that conviction of rebirth isn't essential for Buddhist practice, not a pre-requisite for dharma practice to be helpful. So rebirth isn't essential, for a very powerful dharma life.

And yet, the Buddha did constantly teach or rebirth, and the possibility of rebirth has huge implications for where our practice is going. We'll gather at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 1 to explore rebirth, and what it may mean or not for you..
