Friends,

Happy to share that the radiant and wonderful monastic Bhante Rahula will join us, from Mexico via  Zoom, for the Oct. 20 gathering of Eastside Insight.

Some of you may know Bhante from his several visits to Clear Mountain Monastery, and for his close association with the Clear Mountain Monastery monks. A Buddhist monastic based in Mexico, Bhante Rahula is an extraordinarily engaging and uplifting person, with a way of bringing joy to people's hearts. He'll give a few opening remarks, but mostly he wants to engage with your questions. So please think about what you'd like to ask!

Here's his site: https://www.bhanterahula.com/, and here's a YouTube link to one of the several talks he's given at Clear Mountain - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs-ymolbjqs

We will sit together in the chapel, where Bhante will join us via Zoom, and of course you also can join via Zoom.

Please email Steve for the Zoom link, at stevellen95@comcast.net, or please come in person to the chapel at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, 315 3rd Ave S., Kirkland, WA 98033.

Here's a link to offer dana to Bhante Rahula.  Also we'll get any cash dana directly to him.

Please also consider offering dana to Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, which makes this space available on a dana-only basis, in a very kind and generous way. If you do, please mention you’re from Eastside Insight Meditation.

Big bows to the kind sangha members who help set up for these 1st & 3rd Tuesday evenings. It’s hugely helpful when you can help, and when you can say you’ll be helping. Thank you!

How wonderful, to harness each moment of our seemingly mundane lives for our awakening, to in turn benefit all beings.

With bows and love,
Steve
