Group Meditation

For this Tuesday, May 5, Eastside Insight gathering, we're happy to welcome guest teacher Lauren Wilson. The evening will only be online, not in-person

Her talk will be: From Suffering to Gladness

She writes:

"The Buddha teaches that perpetuating the cycle of suffering called samsara is not inevitable. When we respond to suffering with acceptance and confidence, we engage in a transformational process called Transcendent Dependent Arising."

Here's a quote she shared from Joseph Goldstein: "We all experience suffering. When faith is born out of suffering instead of bewilderment and despair, it sets in motion a chain of dependent arisings leading through many kinds of happiness all the way to liberation."
