Friends,
For this Tuesday, June 16 Eastside Insight gathering, we'll explore the transcendent mastery of patience, the ways that the not-reacting of patience is a boon for others, and for ourselves.
Many consider Shantideva’s Chapter 6 on patience in "The Way of the Bodhisattva," as one of the most profound and radically transformative texts on managing anger and developing compassion. We'll explore how this remarkable 8th Century text is absolutely useful in these times.
We’ll be gathering at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16.
Please email Steve at stevellen95@comcast.net for the URL for the evening. Or please come in person to the chapel at Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, 315 3rd Ave S., Kirkland, WA 98033.
Please consider offering dana to Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church, which makes this space available on a dana-only basis, in a very kind and generous way. If you do, please mention you’re from Eastside Insight Meditation.

Also you're invited to offer dana to the teacher, with links and addresses below. Many thanks for your generous dana, which helps pay for retreat and teachings, and helps others on the way.

Big bows to the kind sangha members who help set up for these evenings, now Tuesdays. It’s hugely helpful when you can help, and when you can say you’ll be helping. Thank you!

May our continuing practice bring us peace, centeredness, wisdom, and loving compassion for all beings.
With bows and love,
